Welcome to the Little Word Detective Pen Pal Program, a totally free club where secret-agent writers send each other top-secret notes through the mail! Once you sign up, you'll receive an email straight to your inbox with your pen pal's address so you can mail your very first letter. Swapping these handwritten missions turns everyday literacy into an exciting adventure of discovery, connection, and fun! Feel free to swap letters, crafts, friendship bracelets, old but loved books, or short stories and drawings!

If your pen pal is not responding, please feel free to register again to be given a new pen pal. This program is solely for the love of snail mail, literacy, and connection. Once you have been assigned a penpal and have established a mail relationship, this is an independent pursuit. Though that is true, the Little Word Detectives Team would love you to share you snail mail pen pal experieicens with us on social media!

This program is just starting, so please allow a few weeks for you to be assigned a peer penpal within the same age range.
